Linney’s
Mill is a family business,
one of
the few fully operational and
producing mills in existence in
North Carolina. You can watch as it
work producing corn
meal with water-wheel powered
grinding stones for about 65 years.
William’s father, W.L. Linney, built
a dam and installed the waterwheel
on Rocky Creek, north of
Statesville, in 1937.
This website is
designed give you an insight in the history
of Linney's Mill and what the mill
has evolved to today, from the
General Store to the private
Campground with creek side sites. |
